Klopp was surprised when Arsenal beat Sevilla 6-0 in a friendly match for the Emirates Cup on July 30.

“I watched Arsenal’s match result. They beat Sevilla 6-0. Very impressive,” Klopp told ITV Sport ahead of Liverpool’s Super Cup match against Man City. “Honestly, I don’t think such a result has ever happened to Sevilla.”

The German coach also thinks that Liverpool will experience a difficult season, when Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham and Man Utd all spend heavily to strengthen their forces this summer. However, he is confident that Liverpool are “ready to take on the challenge” in the new season.
